Policy Changes

Tell us when your circumstances, property or business change.

Changes that may need to be reported

Changes during the policy period can affect cover. Contact us as soon as possible if something material changes or if you are unsure whether your insurer needs to know.

Address or Occupancy

Moving address, a property becoming vacant, a tenancy change or different occupancy can affect the risk.

Business Activity

New services, contracts, turnover, employees, equipment or premises may need to be considered.

Property Works

Building works, renovations, extensions or changes in use can affect policy terms and underwriting.

Values & Sums Insured

Changes to rebuilding costs, stock, contents, equipment or other values may affect the adequacy of cover.

Security

Changes to alarms, locks, storage, access or other security arrangements may be relevant.

Other Material Changes

If you think a change could influence the insurer’s view of the risk, tell us rather than assuming it does not matter.

Important information

Cover, eligibility, limits, excesses, exclusions and conditions vary by insurer and policy. Product information and policy documents should be reviewed before you decide to proceed.
